Let us help you!

Teaching and conducting research in a virtual environment

If you are interested in teaching in a virtual environment you can contact us for an indiviudal training session or you can attend a workshop. Theses sessions are designed to help faculty estabish their online presence and learn how to navigate the virtual environment.

Faculty training sessions are held throughout the semester. These usually last a couple of hours and are designed to provide faculty with a brief introduction to our virtual environments. The CDI also offers summer workshops for those faculty wanting to have a more immersive experience where they can work on research projects and courses in our online environments. Workshop times are posted on the CDI website, and all training sessions and workshops will be held in the CDI Lab in the Dean Ellis Library (Library 205).

Virtual Environment Projects

If you are interested in working with the CDI to create an online 3D virtual environment, model, interactive database, or 3D visualization, please contact us so that we can schedule a time for our staff to meet with you to discuss the project and see how we can help.
